McLauren Theater

This theater is located on Lake Keowee in Salem S.C. We were a part of 

this project from the framing stages. We were not a part of the color and

trim selections with this project. We did get to place equipment in a 

closet behind room and allow projector to shine thru a trim piece.

This room consists of a 7.2 Definitive Technology speaker system. 110"

Screen and a Sim2 HT 380 Projector. Multiple Sub-woofers are always

used when budget and space allows. Front speakers are in-walls and

Rear speakers are in-ceiling.

We used seven Fortress seating chairs and based on the room size we 

had to build a double stage to offer better viewing from back row.

Control4 switches were used and dim with a simple touch of the remote.

Since equipment is located behind room we used a 400 Blu-ray Mega

changer and all movies can be chosen from cover art on the 110" Screen.

The homeowners are big movie buffs and use this room constantly. They

also love Vampire films, so they had a lot of posters that took away from

our ability to install acoustical panels. 

The homeowner used the storage space off the theater for storing the

many DVD cases and also a place to store gaming controllers.
